Elle is a medical biology major with minors in interdisciplinary sciences and multicultural studies at the University of South Dakota. She is committed to serving Indigenous peoples and extended diverse communities. She's looking to focus on Native American communities and the health disparities they face. She hopes to uplift and inspire other underrepresented individuals studying medicine. She is president of USD's chapter of the Cultural Wellness Coalition, and vice-president of the AISES and SACNAS chapters as well. Her undergraduate research involves the study of amphibians and the effects of chytridiomycosis and selenium on metabolism. In her free time, Elle enjoys nature walks.
