Doriane, a member of the Fort Peck Assiniboine and Sioux Tribes, is majoring in psychology and community health and minoring in sociology and health and human development. She is originally from Wolf Point, Montana. She is a current member of the American Indian Science and Engineering Society, Active Minds, and an ambassador for the Empower Center. She is a founder and mentor of the Honor Bound program. She is also a McNair Scholar. Her goals are to become a clinical psychologist with a Master in Public Health and return to the Fort Peck reservation to provide mental health services. She wants to focus on Native youth’s mental health.
