Environment
Will is an environmental science major at the University of Texas at Austin, who is passionate about conservation of the Texas Hill Country, a place he has called home for his entire life. His current research focuses on creating paleoclimate reconstructions of Central Texas hydroclimate using tree rings. He is also leading the effort to monitor water quality on a Hill Country ranch being sustainably developed. At UT, he leads the student government's sustainability caucus and enthusiastically advocates for better water quality in the on-campus creek. In his free time, Will can be found rock climbing and hiking anywhere he can.
