Calvin is an environmental science major with a graphic design minor. He is currently doing research at the Academy of Natural Sciences Department of Ornithology on whether the bird species white-winged becard (Pachyramphus polychopterus) follows Gloger’s Rule. Calvin is proud of his African-American and Sierra Leonean heritage and wants to help provide opportunities to underrepresented communities and individuals in STEM careers. Calvin is an African Dance Team copresident, and a member of Toxic Free Philly Drexel and the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists (AAEES) student chapter. Outside of academics, Calvin enjoys drawing, learning about animation, playing video games, bike riding and playing tennis.
