Patrick studies ecology & evolutionary biology at Princeton, with minors in African studies and history & the practice of diplomacy. An avid birder, wildlife photographer, and conservationist, Patrick is fascinated by efforts to protect biodiversity worldwide. His research has taken him to Costa Rica, Peru, Kenya, and Mozambique, and he also conducts research on Princeton’s campus aimed at identifying and mitigating hotspots for bird collisions. With broad and deep academic interests, Patrick’s work has been published in several academic journals and popular news outlets.
