Shaeleigh is a sociology major with a concentration in criminology and criminal justice. She is also working toward a minor in American Indian studies. Shaeleigh is passionate about bridging the gap between Tribal nations and the State of Oklahoma concerning criminal prosecutions. She participates in the Native American Student Association and recently served as Miss American Indian Oklahoma State University 2023 and continues to be involved by serving as the vice president of the organization. Shaeleigh is also involved in sociolegal research focusing on the aftermath of the McGirt decision looking at its impact on taxation in the State of Oklahoma. After her undergraduate degree, she plans to further her career relating to Native American studies focusing on Federal Indian Law.
