A Mississippi native, Lily is passionate about natural resources conservation, specifically the relationship between Mississippi residents and riparian ecosystems. She serves as an undergraduate program assistant for Mississippi Water Stewards, an education program that provides water monitoring resources and training for Mississippians. She is also an Ambassador for the College of Forest Resources (CFR) at Mississippi State University, working in recruitment and engagement of prospective students. Her undergraduate thesis compares domestic and international water resources policy. Lily aims continue to serve her community through environmental conservation and is particularly interested in flood mitigation and nature-based policy and management.
