Kailani is an environmental justice advocate from New Jersey who has spent most of her life exploring the intersections between social justice and ecological prosperity. She is an environmental studies and anthropology student at Tufts University and will get her master's degree through the Bachelor of Arts/Master of Arts program in urban and environmental policy & planning. Kailani has explored how to make tangible impacts on communities through work in Oakland, CA with the East Bay Regional Park District and the United States Environmental Protection Agency. In the future, she hopes to empower marginalized communities like her own that face disproportionate environmental concerns.
