Coral is a public policy and economics double major who is passionate about securing climate and energy justice through place-based policy and community engagement. She is co-president for Duke's urban studies club and an executive member for the Duke Undergraduate Environmental Union, where she works to increase student engagement on the university Climate Commitment. Her undergraduate thesis is on the role of community-based organizations in creating housing and energy justice policy. Her work experience includes the Department of Energy, Natural Resources Defense Council, the League of Conservation Voters, and two research projects on plastics policy and hog farm communities, respectively. In her free time, Coral loves to dance, crochet, read, and cook.
