Hailey is an enrolled citizen of the Choctaw Nation and a registered first-generation descendant of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians. She is a rising junior studying psychology and linguistics. She is passionate about language acquisition and exploring complementary and non-Eurocentric mental health treatments. During the 2023 summer, she will conduct community assessment research for the legislative branch of an Indian Tribe that is designing a multi-Tribal mental health center in rural Oklahoma. Outside of class, Hailey enjoys art, swimming, and spending time with her dog, George.
