Roberto is a fisheries, wildlife, and conservation sciences major at Oregon State University with a passion for fish native to the Pacific Northwest. He serves as co-president of the 5-Rivers Fly Fishing Club at Oregon State University and is a member of SACNAS and MANRRS. His current research is focused on the Goose Lake basin and is analyzing relationships between benthic macroinvertebrate biodiversity and abundance and the distribution and abundance of the native endemic Goose Lake Redband trout (Oncorhynchous mykiss spp.). His every free second is spent with friends, family, and in the pursuit of native fishes.
