Environment
Genesis is a student at Dickinson College studying environmental science & economics. Genesis was first introduced to community food systems & traditional ecological knowledge through their elders in Antigua & Barbuda. As a farmer, climate justice activist and researcher, they are learning how to build community-based climate resilience by supporting local farmers networks in the Caribbean and incorporating an ethic of care rooted in transformative justice. Their research focuses on climate resilience within the food system of the Latin American and Caribbean region. They hope to weave diverse sources of knowledge together to contribute valuable insights to the broader discourse on climate adaptation and resilience.
