Ma'iingan E. Wolf Garvin, Ho-Chunk Nation of Wisconsin
Brown University
Tribal Public Policy

Ma'iingan is a proud member of the Hoocak Nation and descendant of the Bad River Ojibwe. She was born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin, but has always referred to the shores of Lake Superior as a second home. She attends Brown University with a double concentration in environmental science and critical Native American and Indigenous studies, and is passionate about fighting environmental racism and climate change through the lens of Indigenous epistemologies. At school, she is a co-coordinator for Natives at Brown and president of the Indigenous program house. At home, she is an older sister and a lover of reading, walks in the woods, and maple syrup.
