Chelsea is a plant production and protection major and is minoring in soil science and botany. She is passionate about protecting the native ecosystems in her beautiful home state of Wyoming and beyond from the threat of invasive plants, especially invasive grasses. Chelsea is looking to continue her education with a master's in entomology and a doctorate looking at the underground mechanisms of invasions. Chelsea loves to be active in volunteer work in her community and has been a part of numerous research endeavors in the fields of agriculture and restoration. Chelsea is a recovered addict, Indigenous ally, and proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community.
