Alexis is a biological engineering major with an environmental concentration and is pursuing a career in the environmental restoration field. She has completed research on finding solutions for mitigating methane that was previously being vented into the atmosphere by converting it into a chemical compound that is less damaging to the environment. She plays an active role in her school's biological engineering student club where she helps raise money to fund club activities. In her free time, Alexis enjoys running outside, riding horses, and hiking with friends.
