Elizabeth is pursuing a triple-major in ecology, evolution, and biodiversity, environment, and molecular, cellular, and developmental biology at the University of Michigan. She currently works as an undergraduate researcher in the Colacino Lab and serves as the co-president for UM Citizens’ Climate Lobby. She is a founding member of the Student Carbon Neutrality Network and supports a variety of outdoor education programs for elementary students. Elizabeth plans to complete a doctoral program in ecotoxicology and use scientific research to affect policy decisions that protect environmental health. In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys spending time outside, like running and backpacking.
