Lucy is an environmental geoscience and political science double major with minors in philosophy and honors at Mississippi State University. There, she serves as chair of student affairs on the Student Association Senate, sustainability chair for her sorority, and research assistant in the Department of Geosciences. Last summer, Lucy studied alternative energy in Iceland and Scandinavia and worked as a legal intern at a non-profit electric power provider in Mississippi. After graduation, she plans to earn her juris doctorate in preparation for a career in environmental law and policy in Washington, D.C., where she will represent environmental advocacy groups.
