Faith is a first-generation college student double majoring in oceanography and environmental science with a certificate in geographic information systems at Oregon State University. She aims to combine research and science communications in her career, focusing on kelp forest ecology. During her two years at Oregon State University, she has served as an AAUS scientific diver, and worked as a researcher with multiple laboratories, non-profits, and government agencies. This summer, she will work as a field technician for the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife to study juvenile salmon and stream morphology in southern Oregon. In her free time, Faith enjoys backpacking, spending time at the coast, and gardening.
