Meghana is a dual degree student in government and politics and agricultural and resource economics that is passionate about natural resources policy. She serves as the speaker of the legislature for the University of Maryland’s Student Government Association, and is heavily involved on campus with student leadership and agricultural organizations. She served as an intern for the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Natural Resources during the 117th Congress, and is currently writing her undergraduate thesis on the political atmosphere of California’s growing wine tourism regions. Meghana enjoys taking care of her many, many houseplants and watching Gilmore Girls.
