Brooke Davis, Navajo Nation
Northern Arizona University

Brooke is Diné (Navajo) from Dléésh Ligaí, or White Clay, Arizona. As a Master of Public Health student at Northern Arizona University, specializing in Indigenous Health, she is dedicated to improving health care access and outcomes for Native communities, with a focus on gender-based violence. Brooke has been a dedicated advocate for health equity, focusing on improving outcomes through education and community-based planning. She has worked to advance this cause by engaging university leadership with strategic messaging and organizing awareness events centered on critical issues like sexual violence and COVID-19 prevention. Her commitment to culturally responsive care is rooted in her academic background and practical experience in community-based participatory research. After graduating, Brooke plans to continue advocating for policies and initiatives that enhance the well-being of Native American populations.
