What is Parks in Focus® – Our Team

Neda (she/her) grew up in close connection to the outdoors, mainly through exploring the oak woodland and chapparal ecosystems of Southern California, going on local hikes, spending summers on the beach, and taking road trips all throughout California. Neda graduated with a degree in environmental science and policy with an emphasis on community-based climate resilience. She currently lives in the San Francisco Bay Area where she has worked as a sustainability professional and environmental educator. In her free time, you can find her hiking, reading, cooking a meal with seasonal produce, or planning her next road trip adventure. Neda is passionate about fostering spaces where young people can build and develop a close relationship with the natural environment while exploring their unique interests. She is looking forward to facilitating that space and connecting to youth and the outdoors through Parks in Focus®.
