Stewart L. Udall Parks in Focus® Program
Get Involved – Volunteer with Us
Parks in Focus® relies on dedicated volunteers to assist with its year-round programming in
Tucson as well as with its summer and satellite activities in
Sedona,
Flagstaff,
Grand Canyon, and
Yosemite.
Volunteers include students, professional photographers, retired educators, and everyone in between. Parks in Focus® volunteers share a
passion for introducing youth to our Nation’s public lands and play a critical role in program operations.

Volunteer Opportunities
Activity Assistants
Accompany Parks in Focus® team members on outings and work directly with our youth participants. Activity assistants help our team
implement outings, handle logistics, prepare meals, lead games and activities, and document trips through photo and video.
Behind-the-Scenes
Volunteers can also support behind-the-scenes with tasks such as gear maintenance, photo management, data entry, multimedia projects,
and more. If you have a special skill or talent you’d like to share with the Parks in Focus® team, please let us know!
Guest Photographers
We welcome professional artists and photographers who are willing to share their time and talents with our Parks in Focus® participants.
Guest photographers may join groups for as little as an hour or for as long as an entire week-long camping trip.
