Who We Are - Staff & Volunteers

Jessica Dannelley,
Tucson Trip Leader

Jess grew up playing in the red dirt of Sedona, beginning her lifelong love of the outdoors. Inspired by nature in her very own backyard, she became interested in hiking, camping, running, and mountain biking. A lover of travel, Jess likes to visit various local, state, national, and international parks. Her favorite national park is the Grand Canyon, where she was taken on a youth backpacking trip. At the University of Arizona, Jess became a member of the Ramblers Hiking Club and the nonprofit organization Camp Wildcat. Through Camp Wildcat, Jess discovered her passion for working with kids and is pursuing a degree in Elementary Education. Educating and volunteering with Tucson’s youth led her to become a Camp Counselor with the YMCA of Southern Arizona and a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters. By working for Parks in Focus, Jess hopes to inspire youth to get outside through exploration and photography.
