Sophia is a political & public advocacy communication and environmental science & policy double major at the University of Maryland. As coordinator of MaryPIRG's 100% Renewable Campaign, she works to transition the campus to renewable energy and organize against environmental justice issues in Baltimore. Sophia researches environmental and public health inequities with the Center for Community Engagement, Environmental Justice, and Health, where you can find her published work. Looking forward, she aims to study environmental law and represent environmental justice communities. In her free time, Sophia enjoys reading and playing video games with friends.
