Madison is a junior studying environmental and ecological engineering at Purdue University. She aspires to lead cities towards a low-carbon society through climate adaptation and resilience planning, and her work in city government has already begun. As a sustainability commissioner and climate action intern, Madison has led various environmental initiatives, including a residential food waste diversion program, the implementation of green stormwater infrastructure, and climate-related public engagement efforts. She also participates in Student Sustainability Council and will be working for Cummins’ North American Environmental team this summer. In her free time, Madison enjoys cross-stitching, playing clarinet, and working as a barista.
