Tamee E. Livermont, Oglala Sioux Tribe of the Pine Ridge Reservation

Tamee is a proud member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe and a junior at the University of South Dakota, where she majors in Native American studies and medical biology. Tamee is passionate about being the first line of defense for infants affected by prenatal drug and alcohol use, as well as changing Native healthcare policies to better the quality of healthcare offered to Natives nationwide. Tamee holds various executive seats in campus organizations, as well as a seat on the National Indian Health Board’s Tribal Youth Health Advisory Board.
