Jonathan E. Lambert
Jonathan Lambert is a junior coastal environmental science and marine biology double major who is passionate about elucidating the impacts of human activities and climate change on coastal ecosystems. He is president of the School of Coast and Environmental College Council at Louisiana State University, and leads activities and service events educating students about the science and vulnerability of coastal ecosystems such as Louisiana's. His undergraduate thesis in the developing field of paleotempestology studies ancient storm surge history via proxy records, focusing on the Baja California Sur region. How can you describe a weekend of student leaders from across the U.S. with an intense passion to change the world? The Orientation was a phenomenal experience to meet and build connections that I'm sure will last a lifetime.
