Erica J. Berry
Erica Berry is an English and environmental studies major, passionate about bringing her love of storytelling to the environmental field. As editor of Bowdoin's paper she has focused on forwarding campus conversations about local and national environmental issues. She recently worked as a communications intern for the NGO Oceana, and has published an essay that weaves the threat of climate change in Vietnam's Mekong delta in with her experiences there helping film the upcoming PBS Vietnam War series. This summer she will do field research for her creative nonfiction thesis about the interplay between myth and policy for Oregon's grey wolves.

How can you describe a weekend of student leaders from across the U.S. with an intense passion to change the world? The Orientation was a phenomenal experience to meet and build connections that I'm sure will last a lifetime.
