Sarah B. Hardy
Sarah Hardy is a civil engineering major focusing on water resources and environmental engineering at Lafayette College. She is currently researching how to treat wastewater with plants and bacteria as part of her EPA Greater Research Opportunities Fellowship. She studied abroad in New Zealand and researched surface water/groundwater interactions to determine aquifer recharge. Through Alternative School Break club, she is working on community education and engagement concerning environmental issues to create policy change. Her hobbies include hiking, gardening, and reading the news.

How can you describe a weekend of student leaders from across the U.S. with an intense passion to change the world? The Orientation was a phenomenal experience to meet and build connections that I'm sure will last a lifetime.
