Brian A. Conlon
A senior at University of Tennessee-Knoxville, Brian Conlon majors in environmental studies and German with minors in economics and materials science and engineering. He served as Co-President of Students Promoting Environmental Action in Knoxville, seeking bottle deposit legislation in Tennessee and responsible investment of UT's endowment. At Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Brian performs research on climate change adaptation and DOE’s Weatherization Assistance Program. Before graduate studies, Brian intends to spend time weatherizing low-income homes or return to the sustainability "Wunderland" of Germany for energy research. He enjoys Tennessee's wilderness, playing soccer, and cheering on his favorite team Borussia Dortmund.

How can you describe a weekend of student leaders from across the U.S. with an intense passion to change the world? The Orientation was a phenomenal experience to meet and build connections that I'm sure will last a lifetime.
