Anita M. Schwab
Anita Schwab returned to school after a career in the electronics industry and interior design. Her focus is now in environmental sustainability, scholarly events, and mentoring students. She is a 2013 Jack Kent Cooke Scholar and member of the PTK All California Academic 1st Team. On campus, Anita created a “Democratization of Information" symposium and film series to further public education. She has led projects such as a bike check-out center, composting, and the campus environmental conference. Anita plans to attend UC Irvine to complete her undergraduate degree, and pursue a doctorate in sustainable development to support the economic and social well-being of indigenous peoples through tourism.

How can you describe a weekend of student leaders from across the U.S. with an intense passion to change the world? The Orientation was a phenomenal experience to meet and build connections that I'm sure will last a lifetime.
