Charlotte C. Basch
Charlotte Basch is an anthropology and sociology major with a minor in indigenous studies at Pacific University. She is from Seaside, Oregon, with family from the Puyallup Tribe of Indians as well as the Clatsop-Nehalem Confederated Tribes. Charlotte is a past council member and Canoe Family coordinator for the Clatsop-Nehalem located in northwest Oregon. She is passionate about the federal restoration of the Clatsop-Nehalem as well as for the rights of indigenous people worldwide. The traditional culture of the Northwest has always held importance for her, and Charlotte hopes to continue serving indigenous people on the local, national, and international stage.

How can you describe a weekend of student leaders from across the U.S. with an intense passion to change the world? The Orientation was a phenomenal experience to meet and build connections that I'm sure will last a lifetime.
