Tad C. Cooke
University of Vermont

Tad is studying ecological systems design in order to pioneer more efficient, economically viable and environmentally regenerative means of producing food and energy on a variety of scales. He's engaged in several projects exploring bio-thermal heat for cold climate greenhouse production and food system sustainability. When not working with compost, Tad is an avid backcountry skier, whitewater paddling instructor, Wilderness EMT, and stonemason's apprentice.

How can you describe a weekend of student leaders from across the U.S. with an intense passion to change the world? The Orientation was a phenomenal experience to meet and build connections that I'm sure will last a lifetime.
