Matthew S. Faunt
Willamette University

Matt is a junior at Willamette University in Oregon where he studies earth and environmental science, with minors in music and economics. He works extensively with Tsuga Community Commission, a non-profit which uses camp programming to reach out to youth communities in Oregon. Matt values his relationships with people above anything and is passionate about environmental education, volunteering for the Jane Goodall Environmental Middle School and Multnomah County's Outdoor School Program. An avid lover of the outdoors, Matt is open to adventures, especially when in good company. He is currently studying coastal ecology and natural resource management in Tanzania.

How can you describe a weekend of student leaders from across the U.S. with an intense passion to change the world? The Orientation was a phenomenal experience to meet and build connections that I'm sure will last a lifetime.
