Heather L. Hatzenbuhler
University of Georgia

From her local campaign to close her university’s on-campus coal boiler to participating in international climate negotiations, Heather is a leader in the youth climate movement. She serves as co-chair of the Sierra Student Coalition’s International Committee and founded a chapter of this organization at the University of Georgia. After attending law school she plans to work with the EPA or in Congress to address environmental justice as it relates to energy policy. Her Christian faith is the source of her passion and motivation for organizing to fight climate disruption.
