Elliott S. Chiu
Drexel University

While formally enrolled as a biology and environmental science student, Elliott focuses on the conservation of biodiversity. His work has brought him to the Pennsylvania and New Jersey wetlands, Belize, Peru, Costa Rica, Egypt, and most recently, Equatorial Guinea, where he now researches the ecology of an understudied species of endemic chameleon for his thesis. His desire to conserve nature’s wildlife is mirrored by his aspiration to become a wildlife conservation veterinarian with a major focus on infectious diseases. Elliott spends his free time traveling where he enjoys collecting insects, photographing nature, rock climbing, and learning languages.
