Micah B. Leinbach
Lewis and Clark College

Micah hails from the Great Lakes. A childhood spent exploring the environments of Milwaukee, Wisconsin by bike, or disappearing into the dune country of his native Northern Michigan inspired his own environmental work. He works as an environmental educator in the field, chairs an annual environmental studies symposium, established a $150,000 fund for student sustainability initiatives on his campus, and continues to find the complexity and depth of envrionmental issues fascinating. Still, he is perhaps better known for a penchant for Lumberjack folklore, storytelling, and playing the harmonica late into the night.
