Krissy J. Bergen
Krissy Jo is a junior at ASU’s New College of Interdisciplinary Arts & Sciences, majoring in psychology and minoring in nonprofit administration. As president of the Native American student organization at ASU West, she has led several community initiatives related to promotion of Native American health issues. Krissy's professional goal is to develop a nonprofit organization on the Ft. Apache Reservation that will strive to improve the mental and physical well-being of children and young adults by establishing early childcare facilities and youth development programs, including the restoration and revitalizing of the Ndee biyati’ (the Apache language) and Ndee bii-at’e’ (Apache cultural knowledge).

How can you describe a weekend of student leaders from across the U.S. with an intense passion to change the world? The Orientation was a phenomenal experience to meet and build connections that I'm sure will last a lifetime.
