Abigail R. Borah
Abigail is a conservation biology major at Middlebury College, studying climate impacts on forest ecosystems. She is a leader in grassroots environmental campaigns as well as the international youth climate movement. Abigail has served as a U.S. youth delegate to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change with SustainUS, as well as the upcoming Rio+20 Earth Summit. She co-founded Race to Replace Vermont Yankee, a statewide grassroots campaign to empower youth voters to replace Vermont’s aging nuclear plant with a clean energy portfolio. She is an active member of Middlebury's umbrella environmental organization and volunteers at the Middlebury College Organic Farm.

How can you describe a weekend of student leaders from across the U.S. with an intense passion to change the world? The Orientation was a phenomenal experience to meet and build connections that I'm sure will last a lifetime.
